BS Surgical Technology
Introduction
The BS Surgical Technology program trains competent surgical technologists (also known as operating room technicians) who are essential members of the surgical team. Over 4 years, students learn sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care. The curriculum focuses on human anatomy, surgical procedures, infection control, and patient safety, enabling graduates to maintain a sterile surgical environment and effectively support surgeons and nurses during operations.
